Our primary program runs for both junior and senior high students on Wednesday nights as part of our Family Night program. We usually start with games in our fully-equipped double gym, followed by announcements, ice breaker games, youth-led worship, and solid time in God's Word. We also bring in a variety of guest speakers, as well as doing special programs including Praise & Prayer, Q&A Panel, and Community Outreach nights.
On Sunday mornings, our junior and senior high students meet in the youth room before morning service for a separate time of Bible study with our committed team of Sunday School teachers. Our Sunday School curriculum consists of both expository and topical teaching from the Answers in Genesis curriculum.
Every month, we host an offsite Ignite Night. These events are primarily social in nature, and are a great opportunity for our teens to invite their unsaved friends to introduce them to our youth group, and also to give our teens an opportunity to more deeply build lasting godly friendships with their peers. Ignite Nights include laser tag, bubble soccer, snow tubing, sporting events, and more.
One Sunday each month, teens and leaders get together for an informal "squash-in" night. Everyone meets at the church for the 6pm evening service, following which we carpool to a youth leader's home, order pizza, eat a bunch of snacks, and play a bunch of games. These nights are intended to continue to build community within the youth group in an unstructured, informal setting.
